Ball Detent Problems

i have x mag number 123 and my ball detent recently broke. i bought some recently from agd directly. these new ones dont fit. they look like the same threads but its hard to tell. do the older x's use different threads? the new ones i got are angel threaded. what is wrong here?

to my knowledge they should all be angel threaded ide suggest some magnetic detents instead of burning through the agd ones

nvr heared of the magnetic ones. fill me in here. also, i was able to screw the thing in after using a rubber grip.
