Can someone explain what DEBOUNCE is ??? I did a search and did not find anything particularly clear.

Bounce/Debounce is just this.

On a microswitch, you never get one clean ON signal. You get many ON signals on the microscopic level. This ends up looking like a bell curve to the board. What Debounce was meant to do is to limit what the board looks for to the peak of the bell curve, and to ignore all the other smaller signals.

What people are doing is turning the debounce the OTHER way and allowing the board to see more of the bell curve as legit trigger pulls (ON signals) and get a greater ROF.
