    classic valve leaks

my classic valve is leaking down the barrel. I took it apart today, and checked for broken o-rings, didn't find any. Here is what i checked: i took off the bolt/ blue spacer thing, and unscrewed the bronze cap the o-ring on the bronze cap was not broken, i checked my on-off assembly and everything looked good there, i unscrewed the valve from the middle, and the spacer thingy on the pin from the front part was ok. That's as far as i got, i don't really know where to go from there or how to get any farther inside the valve. I would watch the video that came with my classic, but i don't have a vcr.

Thanks, i'm sure this is a common problem.

BTW my vavle is a completely stock level 7 classic, nothing has been replaced except a few o-rings.

Air it up, pull and hold the trigger. If it stops, the leak is the power tube oring. Replace it.

If it doesn't, replace the orings in the on/off assembly.

Yeah what he said. Also get your self a classic valve repair kit. It's always a good idea to have it just in case your mag develops leaks.
