Black Hose Vs Grey Hose for Warp

The warpfeed I just got came with black hose and orings. I figured that they were to hold the hose in tighter. no biggie. My question is, wouldn't the black hose restrict ball flow more than the grey? I noticed inside it was rougher than the grey... more gap between ridges on the inside. I've yet to use this but was just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this and what does AGD have to say about it.

I wouldn't think that it would be more restricting than the grey hose. As long as if you can drop a ball in and it rolls through without a problem you are fine.

      You have a point

I wonder if anyone tested whether or not the black hose cycles as fast as the grey hose due to the larger gaps in the hosing. This will cause more friction on the balls as they move through the hose. :o

Dropping balls through the hose may not be a good test for restriction since the balls will be forced UP the hose. Just a thought. I actually like the black hose since it seems to bend easier to the contours and puts less stress on things as well as it being lighter not to mention it matches my black teflon emags much better. Just wondering. No money to actually get out there and play to figure it out. Thought someone may have already noticed any differences.

I use the grey hose on all of my guns and I have just enough to do that. I'm guarding this hose with my life, because we'll never see it again just like machined PF plugs. The black hose feeds fine, I just don't like how weak it is in comparison to the gray hose.

I still have my two feet uncut. Does anyone know about the PTP hose the black and grey hose which is much tougher and a little bit thicker? I have just enough for one gun of that stuff. The inner portion of that hose is the smoothest.
