    On/Off valve sticking

I've read a bunch of posts here about this problem and they all say basically teh same thing, "change the O rings". Here's my dilema, I changed every O ring there is to change on my MiniMag, and my On/Off valve is still sticking. Now what??????

Pressure is good. Gun is lubed.

Yes the on/off valve is lubed. When I screw in the tank, the gun charges like normal. However, When I pull the trigger you can hear the valve sticking open and the air leaking out at a semi-fast rate. Basically, think of the sound a discharging fire extingusher makes, it's that sound {obviously not as loud}.

What kind of bolt are you running? Is it level 7 or level 10?
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

7 for now, but in the next few weeks I'll be upgrading to the 10.

Have you tried turning up the velocity?

Does it do it when you hold the trigger in?

I've turned the velocity up and down and it didn't help. And yes, it does it when you hold the trigger in.

It should shoot or leak down when the trigger is held.

You said you replaced your o-rings, so the on/off orings should be ok. If the leak continues while the trigger is held, check your on/off pin for damage. That is the only other component between the front and back halves that stops air from flowing when the trigger is held.

I compaired my pin to an unused pin, and as far as I can tell there is no damage.

My gun does that when i forget to drop a little oil down the ASA or have the velocity down too low.

It freaked me out the first time because i had no idea what was going on.

Im running the RT Custom w/lev 10 and X-valve

Make sure that you are getting the right torque on the field strip screw. If I over tightend it on my mag it would leak down the barrel, so I have to have it more loose then I thought. Maybe back it off a turn or so.

Completley disassemble Johnny 5, reseated and relubed everything. Uprgraded to level 10 {which was missing some shims and orings, by the way} and now everything seems to be working.
