I get more like 600 shots of a 68/3000 with that set up

        That's not very good

I was thinking about getting an RTpro, but that's lousy gas efficiency.
I get close to 1000 shots out of my medium pressure cocker.

thats why I got my ir3. I had to fill up 4 times a day with my mag, Now I only fill up 2 times per case, with air left over. Saves me about 8 $ a day.

            Some guns are super efficient.

If air efficiency is what you're after, I've heard of AKA cockers, and some modded Impulses getting over 1600 per 68/3000.

I know that I used to get over 1200 out of a 68/3000 with my old modded Spyder years ago.

I seen a black magic cocker with some kind of valve change for 80$ get 1800 shots. Compare that to a mag, its humiliating, still dont like cockers though

that is alittle hard to believe. I too am growing weary of the line to the fill station. I am currently selling alot of my mag stuff and may go cocker for my rec gun needs. I have a new vik on order and my old one got around 1 case per 68/4500 fill.

From what I understand you can get any cocker, inculding stock, real close to 1 case per 68 with a simple reg sweetspotting and spring adjustments...

My field is about 80% cocker owners now. It was like 60% but the 2 or 3 mag owners(including me) got tired of having to fill every 2 games or so. It really got to me when we were praticing against a team, I went through about 450 rounds and ran out of air, really ticked me off.

Does anyone know what kind of shots a blowback gets of a 68/3000?

I believe blowbacks get about the same efficiency as mags do. I get about 1000 shots off a 68 45

600 out of that tank isn't too bad. I've never shot more than 500 in a day with my 98c, and normally shoot 250 max.

About how many should I get out of a 68/45? I still really like mags, and if I can ever get the $ I'll pick one up.

                        honestly,
If you are not shooting more than 500 rnds per day I would stick with what you got....

cockers get much better efficiency, that's all there is to it, but i'd still rather shoot my mag, it's just more fun for me. a blow back will most of the time make better use of air then a mag but probably not quite as good as a cocker. however 600 sounds a bit low, when i used to run a 68/3000 i was getting about 700 - 800 or so and my micro is MUCH worse on gas then most mags, as i has to run 750psi out the end of the bolt, not the 450 that most mags use. so you should be able to get around that or more, just depends on paint and barrel
