flatline question

AGD sent my flatline back with the reg and tank in 2 pieces?? When i put it back together, i put locktite on it and tightened it as much as i could by hand. Is that good enough? i read somewhere that locktite shouldn't be on it after i had it done, but will that mess it up?

Flatlines use no loctite. Why was it in 2 pieces?
