Xmag won't work for whatever reason thread

Searching through the posts for a while now and can't find anything similiar to "All about the warp feed" for the Xmag. Since I had problems when I first picked up my X, I figured this would help out with others who had the same or similiar problems, while keeping it to one thread and not being spread out over the whole board.

All those that had problems and found fixes for them, please add to this post.

"Xmag wont fire in E mode but will in M mode or hybrid"
    1. Is the ACE turned to 01 or 02 with no paint in hopper? that will do it.
    2. Low battery.
    3. Battery contacts not touching terminals.
    4. On/Off pin needs to be shortened

You need to take #4 off that list. That won't fix anything and only create problems unless you have the wrong pin in there in the first place.(Not likely)

And beside the eye, which is only critical on 2.4 and 3.2 version software,Emag and Xmag function identically so there's no need for an Xmag specific thread.

      Well alright,
What about those that own only the Xmag and had no idea that it was functionally identical to the Emag in certain ways. Besides figured it would help those that don't have either the time or paintence to search through hundreds of posts to find the fix for their problem.

And to the # 4. I have heard from several places as well as a buddy of mine who owns a Xmag that shortening the pin can help in certain area's. Like my X. It was done to it before I bought it and works fine. Took my X valve out of my mech mag and installed it into the Xmag and it wouldn't work in manual or hybrid.

What can I say sorry for trying to help out other's.

        Relax man,it's nothing personal. :)

Most people who buy Xmags have a pretty good idea how they relate to Emags but if not, then your first point should be just that.

As for the pin, each AGD marker has a very specific pin length. It's accuracy is required to be measured in the thousandth of an inch for proper function.Shortening it on an Emag or Xmag does nothing for performance. In fact,if shortened beyond the reccommended spec, will only increase the wear and failure of the certain parts.Basically, don't mess with it unless you know exactly what your doing and only then,if it's the incorrect length for your application.

I realize your new here and want to help, that's fine.Just be sure you are aware of what your talking about if you truly want to help.If not, there are others that post here that do.

Thats because the ON/OFF pin on the e/xmag is shorter than what goes in a mechanical mag. It says on the Airgun Store site, when buying an xvalve for an emag, you have to keep the on/off pin from your original valve.

Not firing in emode. As long as the electronics are on, it is most likely a trigger magnet adjustment issue.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Been here almost a year........... and been reading post for another 4 months on that, and I am new? Not trying to sound angry or pissed but just because I do not reply to or start as many posts as others should not imply that I am new. Seen plenty of threads start up from a person's problems with the gun or misunderstanding of said gun.
