X-valve questions

Is it possible for a x-valved mag with ult, to keep up with the electros that are on the tournament scene? What is possible bps with that setup?

IMO, no.

Electros on the 'Tourny' scene are far and beyond anything you can get on a Mechanical in terms of ROF.

You will be hard-pressed to find a legal electro that can consistently shoot 20bps.

with the hair trigger capped at 20 bps. That can easily beat the electros.
My friend at the local paintball store has an alien timmy ( Intimidatior) and he can get only 16 bps out of it. He gets 18 bps out of his matrix. The new Hair trigger can get 20 bpsfor the automag!

Ahem right back at you,an RT "cycling" at 34CPS. If that's what really matters,Vikings have been shown to "cycle" at 40+ with certain mods.Either way CPS means nothing.

A hAir trigger didn't shoot 20bps in the vids I saw(but I haven't been following it closely a may have missed one) but either way that is still NOT an 'Xvalve and ULT' which is what the "Question" actually was about.

And FYI,any decent electro will shoot consistantly @ 20bps or better all day long,don't know where you got that from.If you think you can do it "legally" with a Mechanical what makes you think you can't do it easier with an Electro? You do realize the hAir is just a Mag using cocker based pnues right? Not exactly new or ground breaking.And if you think Mags are gas hogs now,what do think they're gonna be like with a whole other set of pnues in there.

So.......

If you play against a pro level Tourny team with an X Valved mag and ULT,IMO....... your going to get smoked.

ya that was my thought. no way can you keep up using a mech mag. i love my mag in recball, but it just doesnt cut it when it comes to tourny play

dude RRfireblade, only you would get smoked! ! obviously anything with a one ounce trigger pull can shoot as fast as you are pulling it. 20cps is plenty fast as far as I am concerned.

Regulator for x valve? none of mine can keep up.

My friend and i have a few airtanks and none of them can keep up with the xvalve...someone suggested a Maxflo regulator but those are expensive, does anybody know of anything else that can keep up? thanks
