    bolt and battery problem

First of all I bought a set of ule c&c EMAG lowers and the valve without a charger. My first problem is the bolts foamy is gone. I have some real old school foamies, from back in the day, the first time the bolts had them. They are unused and look brand new. Can I just super glue it in like the old bolts? The second problem is my battery. I bought a new battery charger from AGD. When the parts came in I put the battery on the charger, well duh right. The red light came on, then turned green and I left it on for about another half an hour. Then toyed with my mag for a little while. Then it said low battery so it went back on the charger. The light was still green and left it on about an hour and a half. The green light went off so I put it back on my gun, it still said low battery. Now the light on the charger won't come on and still no charge. PLEASE HELP ME. Thanks for any help.

Time to buy a new battery.

I would suggest you purchase a new battery. Eventually the rechargable batteries do fail and refuse to take a charge. What you describe sounds like a classic case of such.

BTW, See BlackCVGs sig for the apropriate glue.

I was afraid you would say that. But wouldn't the light on the charger stay on or lit? The light won't come on at all. Thanks for any help

            Charger doesn't work.

Well, the worst case scenario is that the charger is fried.

If you have a multimeter handy, start by plugging the wall jack adapter in and seeing if it outputs voltage as specified on the charger. If it is more, it could have toasted the charger and battery. (that would really suck)

If it is in acceptable range of 16.8VDC (usually +/- 1 volt of the charger's rated input), then plug the charger in and put the leads against where the battery goes. It should put out about 26.5-27.4 volts.

Then check the battery. It should be about 17.9-19.1 volts.

This is what I measured off of my E-mag. Good luck.

Not here I don't. But I do at work with the rest of my tools. I'll give it a try first thing tomorrow. Failing that I'll call AGD at lunch. Thanks alot man. If the charger is fried I can always send it back it is still new. Always keep your receipts kiddies. Thanks again
