2x trigger question

I have a new RT ULE with the AGD single trigger frame.
My question is: Will I be able to fit any 2x trigger into this frame, if I remove the guard (to accomodate extra trigger length)? I see triggers all day long for less than $20, but I cannot afford the AGD frames Intelli or Y, nor any of the others ie. Rogue, hAir, DYE etc.
Cost is a big factor to me.

I'm not concerned about it being tourney legal as far as the guard goes, I already have a marker dedicated for my limited tourney play. :)

yeah... you can do that... my classic had that done to it... some places no trigger guard is not field legal... but if thats no concern to you... you can chop the guard and put in the 2x trigger..
