    o.k.,

when i bought my mag it had some brown gooky stuff on the nut where you adjust the velocity. on the back you know you have to get to it by unscrewig the veloicity thing all the way and then there is a little black nut or something in their. i was told it is manditory to have that brown gook in there but it cleaned it of and i dont have any gook and do not what the greasy stuff is and where to get it. so if anyone can help me out and let me know where to get it your help would be greatly appreciated.

Tacoma, WA. My grandfather lives there. Anyway, to get to your question. I am guessing you took the grease off of the Reg. Piston. If this is true, I believe any automotive grease would work but wait for someone who is postive on what to use (like a tech.)

Just you're regular grease should work fine, the grease doesn't touch any o rings so anything should do. I just have regular old grease in mine.

Graphite grease is supposed to work real good. It doesn't contanimate the gun down stream, and allows the reg piston to move freely. You can get it at any Automotive parts store.

All the grease does is keep the spring-pack (the little thingy you saw in there), from rusting. Any grease will do, well except for bacon grease
