    Bolt wont go in

    I just got my xvalve.. and when I go to install it the bolt wont go in.. I have a classic body. Anyone have an idea to why this is happening?

    make sure that your on off is pushed in all the way

      If need be, take a file to the inner steel ring in the body to smooth out any possible burrs on it.

        My valve won't go in when I use the stock on/off. The orings push it out just enough that it won't fit. Here's how you fix it...

        Turn the valve so the on/off points sideways, get it up close and push the on/off in with your finger. Once you get it brealy started, turn the valve the right way and push it in.

          check the field strip bushing in the rail... it might not be the on/off at all... sounds odd... but i've seen it before and scratched my head over it before.
