Shims, Shimminey Shim Shimminey, Shim Shim Sheroo.

    Mary Poppins. Yes.
    Anyhoo

Can I use the shims that came with my new on/off on the ULT on/off to increase reactivity?

Approximately how many should I use?

keep adding till it goes full auto then take one or 2 out for max reactivity.

nope. but you will get more leaks and "chuffs"

turning your air pressure up is about the only thing you can do to make the rt more reactive. other than changing your on/off pins...

What is your current setup, level 10? what kind of valve? what is your input psi?

on/off pins come in different lengths..the difference in lengths are very small, but it is possible that you can get more reactivity depending on this length.

reactivity is the return force of the trigger, if the return force is greater than the force needed to pull the trigger than it will shoot "reactive". this is mostly related to your input psi. Also Level 10 reduces reactivity.

              abunkerer, my setup iz......
              X-VALVe
              Intelli trigger
              pmi pure energy 68 3000
              going into x-valve at 750-800

will a greater lenghth to my on/off increase reactivity?

don't mess with the pin, the xvalve has plenty of reactivity. wait untill it breaks in, the trigger will have plenty of response...but no, a shorter pin will be more reactive.

if you put alot of shims, would the trigger pull be harder?

                  quikkk and i win.

since i have an intelli frAME with an x-valve, and 750-800 going into my gun, i shoud get alot of bounce on my trigger right??

More shims wont make the pull feel heavier.

THe intelliframe is just a really nice double trigger frame, it wont cause bounce. It might help you shoot faster than a single trigger frame though....

If you just got it, you have to break the valve in.

Also, 800 while nice, isn't going to give you lots of bounce. A higher input pressure- 850-900+ will.

HUH?? I never said how much reactivity you would get, how could I? I would have to make a comparison, and I didn't...

The xvalve has a reactive trigger, what more do you want? It's not going to go full auto, and it isn't going to feel like the tippmann response trigger.

Have you ever been able to sweetspot an rtmag (basically the same as xvalve)? Sweetspotting an Rt mag takes some practice, you have to put just enough pressure on the trigger to get it to go. Let the Xvalve break in, that will help, also the level 10 has to be broken in and set right, this takes a few thousand shots. The level 10 reduces reactivity, If you want more reactivity you must boost your input pressure (adjustable tank).

relax man! remember bounce is a malfunction and most fields dont allow it, and tourneys disqualify the gun for it.

are tippman responses fast or waT?
