    standard feed port

    has any1 here cut down their standard feed port??
    it seems really long to me...
    i think i'm gonna cut it...
    if any1 here has done it please lmk what u used (hacksaw probly right?) and how much you cut off....i'm thinking maybe 3/4"

    I cut mine down, I cut it to where an elbow would just barely be fully on (it ended up about the length of the feed tube on a right feed cocker). I didn't worry about covering up the exhaust hole because I had a longnose bolt and a revvy, so blowback wasn't an issue. That gun is now owned by Prairie of IPR, if you'd like to get in touch with him and see how it's working out for him.

      i cut my feed tube down to the size of a cockers. i have pics if you want em. just gimme your e-mail.

        I cut mine down as well. It decreases your profile and looks better. I did use a hacksaw, and a lot of sandpaper. I was able to smooth everything off and it works as well as before, if not a little better. Good luck. I have pics if you want to e-mail me @ [email protected]

          i cut mine off with a grinder & a cookie wheel. i hav ealot of tools so i didnt need a hacksaw. i also coned the feed port & sanded it to get it smooth w/ 400 grit sand paper.

            yea i did it
            takes about 30 seconds on a bandsaw then debur and polish with some sand paper or 3m pads
