Removing the stock brass fitting from my classic valve

    Hey,
I am building a backup mag and I want to get rid that ugly brass fitting for steel hoses and go to macroline. The thing is it just doesn't seem to want to budge, is it loc-tited in there? How do I remove it? Would I be alright just putting some plumbers tape on the macroline fitting when I install it?

yes, just use plumbers tape. If the fitting is the original from the factory, it may have a small amount of loctite. just use a wrench and break it free.
