Problem with x-valve..

I got my x--valve in today. I put my nitro into it and leaked through the barrel. I had already oiled it. Then i pushed the bolt back and it stopped. Then when i was seeing how the LX would bounce off my finger, it would bounce fine but not always reset. Also i was gettin quite a bit of shoot down.

IS THIS ALL JUST PART OF BREAKING IN THE X-VALVE? If not, wat am i doing wrong?????

Try going to a larger carrier size for your carrier o-ring. Go to the largest one that doesn't leak. That alone should stop your problems. Later on you may have to drop back down to a smaller carrier size as the o-ring gets broken in.

thanks for the quick response! Yup the carrier o-ring wasn't all broken in i guess. I aired it up this mornin and no leaks, shootdown or bolt stick.
