    X-valve vs. RT valve

    OK. so I know that the new x-valve is lighter. but is there anything else? is the recharge rate faster? and if so i would assume that is good, but with a lvl 10 would it matter since you don't get ball breaks? thanks

    the only difference, other than the ones you pointed out are that the x valve with exept the ult trigger pull kit. You want the level 10 for sure. Without it, you have a very fast blender.

      The RT valve will also accept the ULE Trigger pull kit as well. Only certain single o-ring versions of the Retro Valve won't take the ULE Trigger and they can be modded.

        so it does have a faster recharge rate and it does make a difference even with the lvl 10?

        also, where would I be able to find out how to get my classic 68 valve to work with the ule trigger kit?

          Xvalve = RT valve.

          There's NO difference in performance.

          Put a Level 10 on the RT valve and you have an Xvalve.

              He already mentioned that. His question was about performance.

                awesome. thanks.

                but you sparked a question. you said put a lvl 10 on an rt and you have an x-valve. does that mean you can have an rt valve and a lvl 7 bolt?? effectivly or is it just a blender?

                  with the level 7 it will just end up being a blender.

                      It CAN be, but not always. I shot my RT Pro for months before the level 10 came out. No chops.

                          Good finger control is key in not short stroking a mag. I had a Classic valve for about 3 years before I recently got my X-valve, and I only probably chopped once or twice per 2-3 cases of paint.
                          My feedback is available here.

                            It's damned near impossible to short stroke an RT type valve. It recharges so quickly that it'll be ready to fire a full shot the moment the trigger is released. So long as you have a motorized hopper up top, you'll be fine.
