    E-LCD prob's-new on/off READ

Ok, I have pretty much given up on that guy sending me the on/off for the E-LCD. I have been told that the RT on/off works in polace of the e-lcd's. Is this true? Or is it just something that someone's friends uncles little brother told them? Also what all do I have to get? I was looking at the parts/price list and there is the RT on/off assy. and on/off bottom. Do I need both or can I use my old bottom? This is gonna be kinda pricy. 14 for the bottom and 35 for the assy. Or should I just try to contact mako and see if the can send me an on/off? Thanks.

      1) the retro on/off assembly is only one piece, no top and bottom, it is a single piece or at least mine was.
      2) i used the retro on/off assembly with my old boo-yahh and it worked fine, hope this helps

I will say this. Mako is GREAT when it comes to working on your marker for little to no cost. They get it working and it usually doesn't cost much.
My buddy sent them his Spyder Shutter which he had the boo yaah grip for. He had managed to strip the rear grip frame screw hole, break the head off the bolt that holds on the ASA and couldn't get his boo yaah frame to work previous to those problems.

Mako fixed his stripped hole, removed the bolt with the broken head and replaced it, installed and tested his grip frame to make sure that it worked, and installed his drop forward (Which he'd sent cuz it was still attached to his stock grip) and sent it back to him... all he had to pay was the shipping to send it to them, they did the rest and shipped it back at their cost.

One thing I forgot to mention. We had originally sent the Spyder into Boo Yaah for repairs but a week after doing so boo yaah disappeared. A few months later we found out about Mako and gave them a call, they didn't know if they had his gun or not and asked for some descriptions. We told them about the stripped screw, the broken bolt head, the Chrome lapco drop forward etc.. They said they would call me back about it and asked for my number. I gave it to them and guess what... 2 hours later they called me back. THEY CALLED ME BACK!!! What? Why is that such a big deal you ask? Oh, did I forget to mention I live in ITALY!!! They didn't rush on the phone either, took their time, told me they'd found it and would fix it and send it out. A week later, we had his gun back and it's worked ever since.

I'm getting ready to send my mag to them with my e-lcd frame, just have to wait to get a hold of them, probably after the holidays.

Anyway, Merry Christmas, Feliz Navidad, Buon Natale, chag simcha and to all the others that speak languages I don't know or have holidays I don't know about... Happy Holidays.
