shoot down problems

having a wierd shoot down issue with my girlfriends automag...its a LX AIR valve and its been working great since i assembled the LX on it. but in the last 2 weeks its been getting massive shoot down for some reason. if i fire a rapid string of shots it will lose velocity like crazy. any ideas on what this would be? ive been shooting a 68 3000 pure energy tank on it for the last 6 months so i dont think that the air is the problem. it seems like the valve cant recharge fast enough because if you hold off on firing for a sec or 2 in between shots it maintains velocity.

hmm..

hard to say without having the gun in hand... shootdown can be caused by a sticky on/off pin, or a reg problem. the reg piston not moving properly. you know the lvl 10 takes more air to operate...that can cause problems if your shooting really fast. but it would have to be faster than 14 bps.

check the on/off pin. make sure it moves freely and lube it up. do the same thing to the reg piston if that doesn't help.

Check the reg seat o-ring

Unscrew the 2 halves of the valve...is the Reg seat o-ring (big fat one) loose? It should be stuck to the back half, not hanging loose. If it is, it most likely needs replaced. That is what I usually need to do to fix drop off.

i had a few seconds to look at it after work i checked all the basic stuff like orings and such and gave it a good lubing. the on/off pin was sticking like crazy though so that may have been the problem. i gave it some oil and it slides a lot more freely now. thanks for your suggestions guys.
