tank size

Hey,

I am looking at going HPA and i'm not sure what size tank to get. I play front and I like to play tight, but I want one that will give me a good amount of shots. I have looked at the stats and they are all pretty close to the same size, so now its down to capacity. How many shots can I get from an 88ci tank? Is it very much more than a 68ci? Oh yeah, I shoot a Minimag, but i'm looking at an E-Mag.

It all depends on your price range and what your feild can fill.... If they can go to 4500psi and you can afford a 4500 psi tank, go for it. If you want a small tank with a lot of shots, a 68/4500 would be great... maybe even a 45/4500. And as for how many shots from an 88, it depends on the tank. If it is 3000 psi, you should get 800 maybe 1000. If it is a 4500psi tank, you should get 1200-1500.

get what i'm getting....an 88/45 stub
gets abot 1400 shots on a mag but it's small
short as a 68 but fat as a 114....
i like it cuz it's small but fat and kinda feels better on ur shoulder and stuff...
you could also get a 68/45 stub...wide as a 114 and like as long as a 45 i think....
those i think are a little too small...they get around 1000 shots

as far as how many shots....they say tank the size of the tank (45, 68, 88, 114) put a zero on the end....that'll be about how many shots u get from a 3000 psi tank of that size...for 4500 psi tank the size of the tank and multiply it times 15.

Yeah that helps. I would like to get a 4500, but I don't think I can get it filled. I live in a rural area and I am gonna have to talk the fire chief into filling my tank if I want HPA at all. :) Or maybe I can get th local machine shop to do it.

if you don't go to a field i suggest getting the 88/45 stub like i sed...small but alot of shots...
cuz a field u could get it filled cheap....and u could get a 3k psi tank....but if you don't u wanna get the most outta ur tank....get a 4500
if you can only get it filled to 3000 get a 114/3k w/ a psycho ballistic drop....i had that and it worked real well....but i sold the tank

if i were u i would get a 68ci 4.5k Pure Energy by PMI.it is a good tank. i cant get well over 1000 shots from 1 fill up

i got around 1100 on my 98 and i have the rt trigger which is a gas hog....so i'd say probly b/w 1100 and 1200

well...they are a little big for a front player but if you get a psycho ballistic drop like i told ya it should be fine
it will stick out less then a 20 oz off the back....otherwise i still say a 68/45 or 88/45 stub is the best for u

The psycho drops are nice and long, but I don't know if I like the look. There is a really sweet cradle on the sell/trade forum. Go look at the nitro duck thread and tell me what you think. I have never seen one of those before.

yea i saw that.....it's nice but it's 100 bucks
there are 2 diff kind of psycho ballistic drops...they on't look to bad and for 1/5 the price of that one in the classified forums i'd go w/ that....
to me it doesn't matter how it looks really as long as it performs
