    Dragun Problems...Please Help!!!

Ok, Ok, I own a RogueMag, so why am I screwing with this? Well, I got the gun for free, so I might as well make it work.

Anyhoo, I played last Saturday with it, and it worked fine. So, naturally, since it was in perfect working order, and it was free, I decided to screw with it. So I did this. I have since replaced all the stock crap! I didn't think that was the problem, but I put it back anyway. I haven't solved my problem...

Ok, so, when I gas it up, it leaks like a Mo'Fo. I checked all of the O-rings, and they all look good. I'm including a pic of all the internals, and how they are installed in the marker, more or less. I have not included the valve itself in the exploded view, but you get the idea. So, yeah, I'm stumped. Any ideas, questions?

    Valve-stem in the right way?

I remember putting that in wrong... Co2 everywhere... and every cold hands...

Otherwise check your tank o-ring, make sure to cock the gun and fire it a few times. and make sure it's well lubed

Right way as far as what? I have it pointing towards the back of the marker, like my spyder, if that's what you mean...

Do you cock the gun before you air up? If not, leaking down the barrel would be normal during air up (the valve held open by the striker/spring).

You say it leaks, but from where? Down the barrel, at the VA, elsewhere?

No, the cocking thing is not the prob, since it leaks even when the hammer is not resting on the stem. I think it must just be leaking from the valve, but I have no idea why.

If it's leaking down the barrel when cocked, it's probably the cup seal.

Ok...not quite sure what component "cup seal" is the technical name for.

              Man, I am so

The cup seal is the little plastic piece that sits on the end of the valve stem.

Ok, yeah, that's kinda what I thought. I've been looking at that possibility, will try after class today.

Oil up everything real nice. All o-rings and striker.

Ok, everything is nice and oiled, I turned the valve around, and now it does not leak at all. Now, when I go to fire it, it only lets out a little fart of air, and doesn't recock. This happens when the reg is hooked up and when I go directly from tank to valve.

What do you mean turned the valve around?

The valve was in the wrong direction, so the cup seal wasn't sealing correctly. Before, there was metal to metal contact between the valve and the little stem thing that goes through it. Now, the valve has contact with the plastic cup seal, and the stem is completely inside the valve. So, no more leaks, just the whole air-fart thing. It seems that I may just not be getting enough air to the valve.
