16" Barrel too long for an Automag ?

Do you guys think a 16" Dye Boomstick is too long for an Automag ?
Do I really need to wait for a 14" ?

I don't know to tell ya the truth. What type of mag? ULE body? I found that the ULE body on my Emag "eats" an inch or two off the barrel, especially when playing airball. I play back in airball, and my 12" wasn't nearly long enough to wrap the bunker. I've gotten a 14" on there now (just got my J&J Edge kit yesterday), and we'll see how that works...but I may even go and get the 16" tip to wrap even more effectively. Try one on there, and see if you like it.

Well even with twistlock barrels, it "eats" about an inch or two. I have an 18inch dye boomstick and it just sticks out of my gun 15 inches. So I don't think a 16inch will be to big for you.

Yeah exactly what these guys said, subtract 2 inches or so off the length and that will give you the external length of the barrel.

Personally, I think anything longer than a 12" looks too big on a classic or minimag body, but I like the looks of the bigger barrels (14-16") on the ULE bodies.
