Custom rail

ok guys when i first got my mag i told myself i wanted atleast 1custom part on my gun. With the help of a AO friend of mine i came up with an idea. Slim the rail down just a little bit and at eatch end put a nice sharp point. now i was wondering if at the back end if i hit the Zgrove would it affect anything? does it really have to be there? and i'm not woryed bout the warenty thing because i allreay lost it after my rail mods for the ULE warp. my same friend gave me an idea of a red/black blood fade with the grey gost flames in it. just wanted some input and some tips about this idea.

Well you really want to leave that area alone. The z lock pin is there to stop the back 1/2 from rotating when you adjust the velocity and also lines up the field strip hole for you. There COULD be a potential safety problem without the z-lock functioning as it should.

ok now looking at the zgrove i have mad the decishion to on the back have it going into the point but stoping at the back so basicly
