J&J and CP are good barrels for a lower price. They are around $40 new. Dye barrels are aroun $90 but you do get what you pay for.

personally i love the J/J ceramic barrel, i got mine used for 25 bucks and it shoots unbelievably. works great with just about any paint. i mainly play rec games so i cant justify spending 100 bucks for dye products. also a used smart parts All american or tear drop are excellent barrels for the money.

Lapco Stainless Steel (one piece) barrel, bore .689, 12 inches

Reason: 12 inches is the best length for most guns, especially a Mag (it maximizes efficiency and minimizes ball breaks at the same time), its one piece so its .689 bore for the whole barrels length (except for at the VERY end where it has a "muzzle"), its stainless steel entirely which is smoother (more dense that is) than aluminum and will shoot better as a result of that, and I absolutely love it- works great with any paint, which I think may also be due to the medium bore I'm using. J&J 2 Piece stainless steel barrels are also VERY good, just as accurate, and are the same price ($80) but they don't like certain paint, and I THINK they break a little more paint than Lapcos. Lapco also has less porting and therefore is more efficient with air.
