    Major LX/ULT problems

Ok, well I finally got my scuba today, so I decided to try out my X-Valve with LX and ULT i've had sitting here for a week. So after I put in the valve, I gas it up, it seems to fire alright, but I got a lot of short strokes and some bolt stick. So I tried using the cut spring, I put that in and it fires once and the bolt stuck every time.

So I try going back to the orginal spring that was on there, and after it gases up, it automatically fires once without me pulling the trigger and then refuses to do anything, so what should I do?

I know that some part of it just needs to be tuned to my gun, but i'm not sure what. I left the gun at my proshop to get tuned, but it will cost about $25, so if I can figure out what's wrong in the meantime, I can always pick it up tomorrow and do it myself before the tech guy comes in.

Another thing, if it matters, my X-Valve is slightly used (I got it in the forums here), it was pulled off a pretty much brand new ULE Custom, but would it be possible that it would need retuned to my gun since I have a classic sear/rail assy for the time being and he probably had an RTP one.

Also, if it matters, I am using a Nitro Duck 48/3000 tank.

Make sure your sear rod pivots freely without any kind of restriction.

Yea, the sear pivots fine, I put the whole gun together myself and made sure it was in there alright.

did you tune the lvl10 and ULT? the main reason for the short strokeing is your ULT so just retune it. i gotta tune mine in 2marrow

The thing is, this gun was already tuned for the previous gun it was on, so was is it acting up for mine?

Ok, I took off a shim on the ULT (it now only has 2 or 3 shims) and it at least now fires. I still have my problem of it firing when gased up, and I chopped a couple paintballs when testing it. The ULT still doesn't seem very smooth however.
