New Plastic Nubins

i was looking through the forums and i saw posts about sanding down the plastic nubins.?.? i just got six for my automag and i was wondering if i have to sand them down.

On the back side of the nubbin is a raised trapezoid shaped part of the nubbin. This should extend no higher than the groove in the barrel. It should be flush with the outermost diameter of the barrel. If you got plastic nubbins from the AGD online store, they should have already been sanded.
