i feel stupid but....

I just got a RT pro, used and i have a big problem i think, either that or I'm losing my mind... I cant get the barrel to go in....looking down the gun i see the nub that sticks up..i know i have to align that with the slot on the barrel...the problem is under that nub is a larger piece
and I cant make it compress or anything and I cant get barrel on because that nub sticks up to high. what I am I doing wrong or is there something wrong with this marker? please help
none of the PB stores around here carry automags so I doubt if they will be of much help...
and from what I can tell from photo of barrel on AGD site this is the correct barrel......wait a minute...marker has emag on the back and barrel is for RT does this matter???

Take off your site-rail, take out the valve, take off the body, take the rail.

Underneath the rail you'll see a the brass nub, you'll want to unscrew that allen key so that it loosens up, right now your spring tension on that is too tight, causing your troubles...

Also oil it and your barrel o-rings will help.
