    New old mag?

OK, for starters I am new to this forum. I have been reading a lot of the posts, but this is the first time I have registered.
I have recently joined the ranks of mag owners, and I must say that I'm pretty happy. I've played off and on since 1989. (more off than on, but that is another rant).
Anywho, I just played my first game with this thing and all I can say is wow! I have never shot anything this accurate. It's basically a stock classic with a freak barrel, powered by HPA.
Question I have; well I have many, but I will only trouble you with one.
I got it new, but the shop where I got it said it was a couple years old, and they did not have a box. There are not many mags around here that I know of. I took the valve out and it was pristine, so I am sure it has not been used. What I am wondering is there anyway to tell how old it really is. Not that it's really important, but I'm just wondering.

Valve serial # can give an approximation. But not an exact date.

    BTW- Welcome to AO
