Barrel Leaking (ALREADY DID A SEARCH)

Before anything else, YES I DID A SEARCH.

My mag is leaking BAD down the barrel.
    Classic Valve # CF57676
I'm running a preset PMI Energy 48cu 3000 PSI into it.

If I gass it up enough, and pull the trigger, it will hold the gas , but still leaks a bit.

I oiled every O-ring, and the only Orings that were missing, were the powertube O-rings, at the tip of the power tube. now, those should not be the problem, as when i first recieved the valve, I gassed it up (HPA) and the mag shot just fine.

A few weeks ago, some dip*#@ plugged in his 20ounce CO2 tank into it. i think this has something to do with it. I have ONE star left on my valve, but I'm afraid that I'll miss a little tourney going on here, next month.

Anyone know the turn around time, if i sent in my valve?
Any help is appriciated, and I hope i gave enough info. if not, catch me on AIm as StaticKnightDeus.
    PLEASE.

Can you be sure thats the problem?
Like I said, It never had the O-rings before, and it shot fine previously. No one thinks it was the CO2 ? lol

I'm sure it was the CO2 that took out one of your o-rings. CO2 is evil. EVIL!!!

Get a parts kit and replace the o-ring including the missing power tube one. It could have been an anomoly that it still worked.

never had a power tube o-ring and it shot fine? I ask anyone and everyone to take out there powertube o-ring and see if there mag "shoots fine". or if it leaks like a sieve.
there should be an o-ring in the power tube. it goes in first, then a spacer , and then the power tube tip. there should also be an o-ring on the power tube tip.

there should NOT be ANY o-rings missing from your automag. they are all there for specific reasons. NONE of them are optional.

I think perhaps it was lost or misplaced somwhere along the way.

listen, go to the local harware store and buy 3/8" OD, 1/4" ID o-ring. they are dirt cheap. I'm sure you can afford it.

you'r coming off with a bad attitude in your posts.

Oh dude, I didn' t mean to come off with a bad Attitude man. You have my apologies, it wasn't my intention to sound that way.
I say it shot fine without the o-rings, because when I got it, it shot great the first day i got it- when I gassed it up.
I then put it in my gear bag, where a month later an idiot screwed CO2 into it.
I gassed it up today, and the leak hit.
I took everything apart in an orderly fashion, and those Orings were not present, and thats why i said I didn't have them.
Again, I'm sorry, i didn't mean to sound like a jerk.

you don't sound like a jerk, but you sound a bit edgey. that's alright. let's just get that mag runnin' right!

well sounds like your pal lost the o-rings. he tried to fix it perhaps, and lost the rings.

either way, you can do like I said, and the o-rings from the hardware store will work for you. but they will absolutely NOT work with Co2. that will freeze rubber o-rings fast!

they will work with air quite well, and will do until you can buy a rebuild kit. I suggest getting one from Tunaman. he has excellent prices and is an honorable business man indeed.

                  he's always on the boards.

yeah you sounded pretty upset, but this will fix your problem.

Hardware store orings will work horrible.

You need to use 90 Durometer orings, in the correct size.

Easiest way to get this is from an AGD dealer, or from AGD.

There is no way that the orings were missing while you were shooting fine. The bolt simply cannot hold air without the Powertube oring.

Also, if it's still leaking when you hold the trigger back, then your on/off top oring should be replaced as well.

well the hardware store o-rings are definitely not the best thing to use for the power tube o-ring on a lvl 7 bol, but like I said, it will do, until you get the proper ones.

I use buna-n o-rings (from the hardware store) in my lvl 10, and my on/off. NO problems. they are softer, and seal easier with less friction. they WILL NOT work with CO2. the ONLY reason AGD supplies more durable o-rings is so that they last longer. not because it's the only thing that will work. and the white teflon o-rings are basically for CO2 use.
