i read somewhere that doing this to the bolt spring will reduce wear on the super bolt. i can't seem to find the thread and the search is turning up blanks. i just ordered a super bolt and i want to know if this works and how i go about doing it. anyone that could fill me in would be great.

the supper bolt i belive comes with the honed spring.... now as to weather or not it comes with the plastic nubbins i'm not sure but i think ya get that too....Virus, King of the Basement Trollz has spoken
