questions about building a ue mag

hey guys, I am in the process of building a mag from parts and I would like to build a real sick tourney level ule emag that can be switched to mechanical with an x valve. I am wondering the best way to go about this and if anyone has any ideas on the best way to go about this. I am especially unsure about a grip, I am considering the y grip, but I dunno.I was told that it should run me around 450 for just a regular ule mag, I dunno a lot about emags and I was wondering if you guys could maybe help me out with some info.

Well #1, you can't buy Emag grip-frames. (Not unless somebody is selling theirs.) If you tried to piece meal it (if you could find a frame somewhere without internals) it would cost you WELL over $500

#2- you can't have a Y-grip emag. It just doesn't work/fit.

Your best best is to buy an Emag used or otherwise and customize it from there. You'll save yourself $ in the long run.

thanx for the advice, I am not totally settled on an emag I just want a light fast mag that I can play tourneys with. I was originally thinking about just a ule body, x valve, y grip cuz the x valve is supposed to be pretty good. I just play with a kid with a emag and there are sme things that I like about it. I am new to the world of mags but I have heard a lot of real good things and I loved the ule x valve mag my field owner has and let me play with the other day. The other thing about the price is that I am a field employee so I get a lil discount.
