Intelli-warp hook up

i went to radio shack today and got all the parts need to do the thing when you pull the trigger your warp spins. well i put everything thing together and the warp keeps spinning. i thing the problem is that i didnt buy a NC conductor.they were out of those so i just bought the non nc one. can someone who knows please help me?

Humm, not sure what the problem is here. I am assuming NC means your switch is Normally Closed which would make the warp spin all the time. Most switches have three poles to connect wires too. One is common, hook one wire there, the other two are NC and NO try each combo to see which one works. Make sure you set the jumper on the right to the top position.

When you pull the trigger, does the warp stop? If it's the switch, it should. Like Tom said try different configurations on your switch.

If it still spins and your jumper is correct, you may have a short on your lines.

it look just like the one in the pic. it doesnt say NC on the package though. there was one that said nc on it but the one was huge and not for this.

hmm...i tried every combo with the wires inside the grip...the warp just spins comtinuosly(sp?). if i know me as well as i think i know me, i am prolly looking over the ssmallest thing that can be fixed with a quick pinch.

Disconnect the wires from the switch and touch them together and see if it works. Likely you have some wires crossed, maybe in the phone jack.

I don't think you have the right switch. I have some of the standard switches with and with out the roller and the one with the roller that you need to use in the Intelliframe is part # 275-017A The switch w/o the roller is part # 275-016A

On the package for the roller switch, it will say: SPDT Submini Roller Lever Switch. Make sure this is what you have. All Radio Shacks should have this part and if the one you are going to does not, try a different one.

hey black i got the one with the roller. part #275-017A, im looking at the package now. the only thing i got different is the phone jack. instead of getting 274-247 i got 274-245. its the same thing i just do think that its a NC jack...?

I believe Black has his zgrip with a micro switch in it to work the same. ask him for pics or do a search!
