    Tank guage question

    Hey,
Long story short, I need to replace the guage on my tank (it's a PMI 4500/68). I just need to know, will teflon tape suffice for sealing the threads or should I use loctite for something like this? If loctite, red or blue, a little or a lot?

    Thanks a lot.
Where are we going and why am I in this basket?

    Blue Loctite, a Little

Or Teflon, I recommend Teflon the most (2-3 wraps at most)

Teflon tape will be fine, just make absolutely sure that there is no tape hanging over the edge of the threads that could get into the air passage. If there is, you could get threads of tape blown through your marker, which could cause all kinds of problems, including critical meltdown...
