    Questionable N2 Tanks

I bought a couple of used guns recently, and both sellers added air tanks as part of the deal. I am not to happy with either of them, as you will see.

The first one is an old Crossfire. It was recently re-hydroed, BUT the paint has chipped in several places and it is showing surface rust. Is this tank safe to use? Here's a picture. You can see the rust on the tank's top right side and a ring of rust around the bottom.

The second is a Pure Energy Carbon Fiber tank. The tank looks perfect, except for one small chip. The chip goes through the outer laminant to the chalky looking carbon fiber underneath. The chip is very small. You can just see it in the picture, to the right of the Pure Energy label as the tank is laying dow. Safe to use?

The first one- if it's just paint chipping- no big. Especially if it made it through hydro.

The second one, if you see fiber, get a new bottle. It's NOT safe to use.
