    Xmag Barrel Wobble

Just like the subject reads. I've noticed quite a bit of barrel wobble after screwing in the barrels on my Xmag. I have tried a variety. The stock Xmag barrel, Dye ultralight and CP barrels. They all tend to have quite a bit of wobble. Also, the breach has a decent amount of wiggle room as well. Am I simply not screwing the barrels in enough. I find that hard to believe. Just curious as to what to expect. I do not have this problem with my ULE bodied mag at all. Any info appreciated.

    Thanks!!

You are not screwing in the barrels all the way.

They must pass through the o-ring in the breach and seat against the face of the breach itself in order to secure both the barrel and the breach.

You may want to add a few drops of oil to the o-ring in the breach to ease the insertion of the barrel. If you pull off the breach and look at the front of it where the a barrel contacts it you will/should see the o-ring I speak of.

Thanks Blade! I modifed my previous searches and found similar recommendations prior to reading your response. I'll oil it up and give it a few extra cranks. Should I worry about over tightening? Thanks again for the help. Somehow I seem to miss my twistlocks.
