Changing M/E switch around

Is there a way that I can change the M/E switch around on my Xmag so that when it is on M or E the gun only works in E mode but if the switch is position "3"(notice drawing below), the gun works in M/Hybrid mode?

how hard would this be to do?n Currently on my gun, if it is in mode 3, it acts like the gun isn't on.

The switch has nothing to do with the electronics, it just engages the trigger stop....or not.

What do you mean it acts like it's 'off' in mode 3?


Mode '3' should be basically the same as 'M' mode anyway,which would be Hybrid if the electronics are turned on.

actually i have been told that mode 3 was initially built in as a safety...mode 3 actually should work just like the safety is on...in essence the gun shouldnt work ne more.

Not as far as I can tell. In that position(the switch pointing back towards the valve),the E mode trigger stop is rotated out and you should have almost the full mechanical pull.If the electronics are on...that's hybrd.

Like I said,there is no connection between the mode switch and the electronics.
