just be sure to take it apart and clean it real good, then oil it and put it back together after everytime you play, and it should last you quite a long time. Ive had my classic for about 4 years now, and i love it. i hope you enjoy yours.

I'm in the same boat (mine should be here in time to play this weekend!) Anyway here's what I've picked up, correct me if I'm wrong:

          1. Keep liquid CO2 out of the gun (Palmer stabilizer reg is best for this, anti siphon tank also good but must be custom fitted, expanion chamber or remote should also help). Or just get nitro.

          2. When you take apart the regulator body you should replace the reg seat. It gets deformed slightly during use and will never fit as well again if you take aprt the reg. There isn't really a need to take it apart often so it shouldn't be a big deal. A bad reg seat fit will cause inconsisteny.

          3. To lube the gun put a drop of out in the input line, take the barrel off, and shoot the gun unitil oil stops coming out.

          4. Short stroking the trigger causes shoot-down/ velocity drop off. Release the trigger fully between shots.

          5. Lapco bigshot and autospirit barrels are supposed to be pretty good.

          6. Read Tom's tech tips on this site.

          7. ANS upgrades (bolt, phase 2 reg) and 8 hole mod are a worthless.

          8. The gun like 800-850 psi or so input pressure.

          9. It's good yo use 2 regulators (1 + the internal Mag regulator). 3 is overkill and will starve the gun. You want at least a 200psi differentce between input and output pressures

          10. Level 10 ($80) bolt is a great upgrade that eleiminates chops. One comes with the x-valve ($225 w/ trade-in AIR valve) if you get that.

          11. theres a good exploded diagram on AGD's webiste that explains every part in the regulator/valve. It's a .pdf though

that's all I can think of. Enjoy your gun!
