68 clasic valve leaks out the back where you adjust velocity need help to fix this

usually that means that the velocity is adjusted way up...just crank it down a bit ...that's my take on it

i did that and it still comes out it only does it ever now and then but i want to fix it for good

from my old manual it says

1. possible reg. seat failure:
replace reg. seat.
still leaks>

2. If using HP system
Using hp piston assembly? If
not install Hp piston assy.
if using HP assy.>

3. possible piston
failure: replace reg.
piston assy.

I might try cleaning the face of the regulator seat with my finger first and try the marker again. If it doesn't work the above is the best I got.

P.S you are more than likely using the HP piston assembly
