I have a 68 classic. I bought a new 32 degrees single 45 trigger frame for it. I was told to use the existing trigger for the new frame. I am having a couple of problems. The old trigger and safety went in ok, but when I put the actuator rod and clevis in and attached it to the body and valve the trigger doesn't travel forward far enough. The saftey can not be engaged because it is not moving forward far enough. and the actuator does not seem to be traveling far enough. It appears that the internal portion of the trigger is hitting the actuator. Please forgive me I am pretty new to automags and my terminology is probably all wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i have basically the same problem with my DYE .45 frame... #1 the sear/rod assembly won't even fit inside it and move freely, #2 the trigger can't be pulled far enough to fire the gun
and the actuator in correct terms is the trigger rod or sear rodProud Member Of The AO Cesspool Since 08-24-2002 -
