Where'd you get the valve from? You may have to change the on/off pin possibly.

Because one is for classic rails where the sear/sear pin just drop in, and the other is for RT Rails where the sear pin is threaded into the rail. It just depends what type of rail you have, neither have any special advantages over the other.

Dayspring why would you have to change the on off pin and what type of pin do you change it to? I have a minimag and I'm trying to install a retro valve but for some reason it just is not working properly. I ordered new o-rings and a new reg piston but until then I'm trying to tune it myself. I would appreciate it if you could direct me in the right direction

Because if he's pulling the valve from an RT Pro, the pin will be too long. If he's getting it from an Emag, it'll be too short.

If it's a "from the box ReTro valve," he'll be fine.

its "from the box" ReTro didn't pull it from an rt or emag

I'm in the same boat, but I'm pretty sure my vavle is from an EMag. Although it says Retro Valve 68 Micromag on it.

Where would I go about getting the correct sear, because I'm currently having minor problems with the bolt not resetting even on the longest spring.
