    Flatline reg question

I have a flatline on a 68/3000 tank and was thinking of putting the reg on a 68/4500 tank. Will it handle that pressuse? Is there a way to find out what it can handle?
    Thanks!

If it's the black Flatline reg, it'll handle 3000. If it's the blue one, it's the 4500 one.

There is no way to convert a 3000 reg to 4500. It's stuck at 3000.

Nah. The burst disk would've blown had you put 4500psi into the tank.

maybe it would and mayvbe it wouldn't it wouldn't have. the burst disk is 5K on a 3K system. it will allow it to be filled to 4.5K easy. but the reg would mostly likely not work, freeze up or just blow air out the vent in the adjustment nut. either way, not a good plan.

According to the last hydro on my flatline, the bottle can take 5000 psi. Hehe, not gonna try that tho.....

It would handle the pressure, but for only a short time, but if you do try it, video tape it and e-mail it to me lol.
