Standard feed Automag body fine with level 10?

OK, here's my situation. I've got 2 Mags (one standard feed lvl 7 and the other powerfeed lvl 10). Would I be better off swapping bodies to get the most out of both guns? I've seen differing opinions on this in the past. Some say the lvl 10 doesn't need the powerfeed unless you use a warp, but others say there is still blowback with the lvl 10. I don't really chop balls now, but I've got 2 other options besides a body swap that I can see. Either buy another lvl 10 to replace the 7, or buy another powerfeed body to replace the standard. They can both be had for about the same price. Which of those three would you guys choose and why? Thanks! You are all much appreciated!

I don't know I hate them both.:) (Elbows are the spawn of Satan)

But I can say this, the Level 10 will typically decrease the amount of blowback by at least a small amount.

    So.....

    I'd go L10 in the S/F and L7 in the P/F.....I guess.

But I'd rather have the L10 in both over an L7 in either.

I would get a ULE body for the LX gun. It totally changes the gun, there are so many benefits, basically everything works better on a ULE body.

I never noticed much of a difference in performance between a lvl X standard and a lvl X powerfeed. Whichever body you like better is the one I'd put the lvl X in. As long as you are using an agitated hopper you shouldn't have any problems with either. If you are going to do an upgrade, I'd put a lvl X in both. If you are going to get a new body, I would have to agree with abunkerer and say get a ULE, but that's considerably more $$ than you're talking.

            ULE vs. steel bodies

lighter weight, cocker threaded (no more twist lock), threaded center feed neck, angel threaded ball detents( no more nubbins), ability to be anno'ed

the old bodies are just a tube, and the ball detent "nubbin" was integrated into the barrel, and because the bolt has to go into the barrel you have to worry about tolerance issues caused by the varations of the orings around the barrels and bore size. nubbins don't work well with forcefed hoppers because the balls push past them, and the level 10 can have problems with the twistlock system.
the ule bodies uses removable angel style ball detents, (Kila magnetic detents are the best) they work very well and prevent double feeding. The chamber that the bolt moves into is now part of the body instead of part of the barrel, no more tolerance problems. I noticed that my gun was more consistent (air sealed better?) and quieter with the ule plus the bolt was not hitting the barrel anymore making that ping ping ping noise. Plus the ule uses autococker threaded barrels, instead of the twistlock barrels which are becoming harder and harder to find. The ule is lighter and has a removable feedneck (Rouge locking feedneck is vry nice) so you can add any aftermarket angel threaded feedneck you want.
The only drawback I can see is price, but it is such an improvement over the original design that it makes it well worth it. It's like getting a whole new gun..

*I should be getting paid for this
