Barrel on ULE body keeps unscrewing...

I was outside dryfiring my emag on mech mode trying to get a feel for the reactive trigger earlier today and I keep noticing my barrel starts to come loose on my ULE body after shooting for awhile. This happens with both my CP 1 piece and my old Ultralite. The threads on the body are in perfect condition as well as the threads on the barrels. No matter how tight I screw them on there they still unscrew after awhile. I can't seem to find out why this is happening, anyone have anything similar happen?

Do your barrels have the oring on them? That might help.

No, neither of them do, I don't think i've ever seen a cocker barrel that did.

Hrm, The bizerk barrel that I have for my cocker has a little o-ring for where the flat of the barrel meets the body. That should take care of it. It's a thin little thing.

wrap your threads in plumbers tape that'd work but i found out this only happens to me when
iam dry firing as soon as i stick paint in it dosent happen anymore.

Ahh, so you have the same problem as me then? Only when dryfiring...hrm, guess it really doesn't matter as long as it doesn't happen in a game, but i'll get an o-ring to be safe.

probably has to do with the balls taking the brunt of the force so there'd be more potential vibration when dry firing. That's just my guess.

Would hardware stores carry the orings? I'm guessing yes.

Yea, just take your barrel and find one that fits best.

I use o-rings from my old Spyder barrels. None of my Cocker barrels have them and I had the same problem.

It happens to alot of guns, but its only a problem when dry firing (which is not really a problem at all). You shouldnt have to worry about it in the middle of a game.

Automag Barrel o-rings will work if you have a parts kit or any spare ones, although they are a TIGHT fit on many barrels.

again, all you need is an o-ring over the barrel, past the barrel threads. Doesn't matter in size or diameter, all you have to do is just be able to get it around the barrel and past those threads and you will be fine.
