    regulators on Mags

I just got a mag and I was thinking about getting a vert bottle adaptor so I could put some type of regulator on it like a cocker has. Does anybody have experience on this? Does it work? If so what would be the best reg for the mag considering the pressure the mag needs to run and that I will have it on compressed air?

If I am not mistaken, the Mag comes with a built in regulator.(Correct me if I am wrong).

Yes Arman, you are correct. Mags dont need an external reg. They have one built in. It runs the gun at around 400psi.

Yep, Mags have built in regulators. Soooo...if you're running CO2, you'll need an expansion chamber more than a secondary regulator. If you're running compressed air, you won't need an additional regulator as you'll have two...one on your tank and one in your mag.

If you are running Compressed air, why not throw on a gas thru grip? Dye makes quite a nice one indeed.. C02 could use an expansion chamber to help keep the liquid out of the gun's internals..

A good secondary reg (like a Stabilizer) would work better than an expansion chamber if running CO2.

True....but then a secondary reg is more expensive than an expansion chamber. Of course, if budget isn't an issue, they'll prolly be running compressed air anyway.

                  What about on an RT?

If you had a retrovalve or RT Pro, you need an adjustable tank to change the trigger bounce, well if you don't wonna cash out $350 for a decent adjustable tank, couldnt you just add a secondary reg?
You smell like dookie... No really though.

im not sure but you would add a third reg not a second because theres one in the valve and one in the tank.

You don't "need" an adjustable tank. Preset nitro's run 800-850psi which is about optimum for the ReTro trigger feel.

of course you dont NEED it but if you have one you can adjust the kick of the trigger to ur preference.

thats exactly what you should do, not a reg

i have a palmer stablizer on my mag, it works better than an x-chamber for co2, but i usually run nitro, i do have to say that the velocity is very very consisant. velocity usually only chnages like 1 or 2 fps if that.
