While I guess it isn't automag specific, I'll go out on a limb anyways and ask............... Does gold plating stick to only previously chrome plated surfaces? or will it also stick to nickel plated surfaces? Any help would be appreciated.

Most metals can be gold plated from raw and pretty much anything already metallic plated can be gold plated over. (chromed plastic, etc)
