I think that an ULE body would fit your needs

There are some SS VF MiniMag bodies out there. Check eBay and the trading forums here. They're high rise, though, so you might not like it. Another option is to find a SS No-Rise body. Both these bodies work with twist-lock barrels.

Your other option is to purchase a ULE body, which will require you to use 'cocker barrels.

Will the SS No-Rise body fit AM/MM rail?

The way the MiniMag should have looked out of the box. Lo Rise centerfeed.

I had the necks swapped between a regular lo rise centerfeed body and a hi-rise centerfeed MINIMAG body. Then I had them re apply the blasted grey finish. I think Tuna, Luke, or Coolhand can do the mods. This is my dream gun. I have other higher performance guns, but this has been my vison for many years, and it is now a reality. The only thing that could make it better is if I pneumagged it, but I would want everything within the grip frame.
