    Add or remove shim?

Should I add or remove shims to make my gun less reactive? I understand that it could be solved by lowering the pressure but I have a fixed tank(850 psi). Current setup is 1 shim and 1.5 carrier(I think) and stock on/off. I hold down the bottom of the trigger in the groove on my y grip and the thing goes crazy, I'm starting to scare people away, any suggestions for a less reactive setup?

Level 10 shims have nothing to do with it.

Get a set of calipers and check to see if your trigger rod and on/off pin are in spec. That's the cause of your runaway.

Are you talking about level 10 shims or ULE trigger shims?

Check the sear tip. If it is rounded, it could contribute to the runaway problem as well.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

get a ULT is will cut down on reactivity, and make your pull lighter

Consider yourself lucky some have a hard time getting that effect. :)

anyway im not sure if this is the "preferred" method but if you shorten the distance between the trigger rod and the trigger if reduces the reactivity quite a bit. If you don't have a pull guage or calipers just mark both pieces with a permanent marker so you can go back to the original setting.

I played friday and I owned, my gun wasn't as reactive probably because I didn't oil the crap out of my on/off assembly, I don't want to get the ule pull kit because I like the bounce. And its always sweet to see someone with a matrix or timmy look at my gun and say holy $h*t!

sorry i just gotta ask. it's only when you hold it down correct? it doesn't go into runaway when you're just firing the marker normally (i.e. just one one pull, one shot). Therefore, the RT-Pro isn't to blame. it's your willingness to only fire a single shot when you have that amount of reactivity. But the ULT will cut down your reactivity immensely. just try adding stuff to your paintball marker before you start shaving or lessening anything on it.
