    RT Sear

The new sear that I ordered has a slightly longer rod than the original one off my Classic RT. I ordered it from AGD for the RT and not the pro. Part #000856. What is the rod length supposed to be? I don't have my calipers at home here so I can't tell you what they are reading in at. I looks to me about a 1/16" longer on the new one. Also my original has roller bearings and a carbide bolt catch. The new one is a brass bushing and stamped zinc coated steel. Is this right? It looks cheap compared to the original. The whole reason for the replacement is the the gun isn't as fast is it once was. I used to be able to sweet spot it and get auto like performance. Lately it hasn't been doing that at all. I thought maybe the sear may be worn since everything else is new. Maybe the rod backed off?

Well I aired up today and tried the new sear for the hell of it and notta. It doesn't work with my gun at all. I guess they sent me the wrong one.

The rod is threaded, you can adjust it.
Just screw it in a few turns to make it shorter.
As long as there is about 1mm clearance between the rod and the trigger when the marker is gassed up you should be fine.
