    Does your intelliframe have small cracks??

    hey guys whats up!?> as the title reads does your intelliframe have small cracks around the pin in front of the safety?? i would just like to know if this is normal or something i should be concerned about. thanks

    I dont think they are cracks you are seeing...the trigger pin has a fatter end on one side with knurling. And when you press it in, it distorts the frame a bit. Thats what holds the pin in...

      But since the pin is distorting the metal, and aluminum is brittle and easily fatigued, instead of readily stretching like steel, they could be tiny fractures. More likely they're actually just stress marks, though. If it gets any worse, I'd contact AGD, otherwise, don't worry too much about it.

        What is the finish on your intelliframe? is it chrome?

        if so those cracks are simply cracks in the finish (not the aluminum), the chrome will chip, crack, and peel off sometimes around the trigger pin if it's not taken out properly.

          i have a chrome intelliframe and i have never taken that pin out.
